The Brasserie

Easy-going local restaurant atmosphere in our brasserie

Welcome to an establishment and meeting place for every occasion and every price range. Nice music is always playing in the background and a DJ is in the bar in the evenings. Sometimes live music, sometimes just strumming on the piano – our place is never without a tune. Swedish tastes meet the rest of the world in the cuisine. High-quality produce, seasonal dishes and a modern touch take centre stage. The menu is moderately priced and mainly leans towards meat and grilled dishes. We serve beverages from around the world, with care and expertise.

Chef’s table
Monday-Saturday 17,00-22,00

Furthest in into the premises, next to the kitchen, we offer a little specialty of our own. At the chef’s table, the chefs serve what they feel are the best dishes of the day. The prices are reasonable and you sit in the middle of the restaurant’s lifeline. The idea originally comes from Charlie Trotter in Chicago, but there you would have to wait six months for the table. And their table is even out in the kitchen itself – we thought that was taking it a bit far…

The Bar
One of the Avenyn’s given stop-offs for an evening mixer – a really good cocktail bar that can offer a complete selection from an innovative cocktail menu and high-class trimmings. A DJ manages the music from Thursday to Saturday and there is always a festive mood. The tones run in carmine red. The night is young, whatever the time.
