Frippe
This restaurant, which was named after Gustav “Frippe” Fredriksson, the man who built the theatre, underwent extensive renovation in 1999-2000 – transforming it from a little out-of-the-way café into the modern, airy restaurant you see today. This renovation was carried out when Lilla Scenen, the Small Stage, was sunk two floors down into the rock and turned into a supremely modern reception room. The foyer was integrated with the restaurant, thus making Frippe the natural choice for people wishing to meet up – actors, theatregoers and diners, as well as local residents. This little city restaurant, which is able to accommodate 64 guests, is open 7 days a week for lunch, offers an à la carte menu and is fully licensed.

Pauli
This restaurant was named after the artist Georg Pauli, who painted the enormous murals in the restaurant’s unique round rooms. Pauli is the ideal place to meet up thanks to its central position – near to Stora Scenen, the Large Stage, and its central location on Nybrotorget. Here, you can enjoy a delicious lunch or enjoy a light supper and a refreshing glass of wine or beer before the performance. The inner rooms at Pauli are next to Dramatenterrassen.

Dramatenterrassen
We throw open the doors to Dramatenterrassen as soon as the weather starts to warm up. This is a fantastic, fully licensed, south-facing outdoor restaurant serving Swedish specialities. Dramatenterrassen runs along the ornate façade and is able to accommodate 110 people for both lunch and dinner. Our large parasol provides shade over the hottest parts of the day, while the inviting sun chairs tempt visitors to spend delicious hours enjoying ice-cold drinks in frosted glasses.

Marmorfoajén
This fantastic room, with its pale Italian marble and huge ceiling painting by Carl Larsson is one of the places where theatregoers meet up. Quiet chats over a coffee or a glass of wine before a performance are in enormous contrast to the high spirits seen there during the interval. You can place advance orders for interval items from 45 minutes before the start of the performance. Special offers are available for companies and larger groups. These packages have to be ordered by telephone at least 2 days in advance.

Målarsalen foajé
The little Målarbaren can be found in the third tier, right at the top of the public areas at Dramaten. Its central location outside the Målarsalen and Fyran reception rooms means convenient service for visitors to these stages, and it stays open during intervals.

Companies and groups
We offer companies and larger groups packages in which we can offer everything from guided tours, rhetorical lectures with actors, or why not subscribe to part of a reception room, or even a whole one, and enjoy a wide range of options on food and drink?

Cloakrooms
We can look after your outdoor clothing and small items of baggage here. We also sell programmes and sweets, as well as coffee, soft drinks and cakes during intervals.
